As I spent some time writing about the different subdivsions in Livonia I learned more and more myself. Now as we are on a roll here are the next set of areas I visited and decided to write about.
Livonia is located in the Northwest part of Wayne County and actually borders Oakland County. So it is also very easy to get to many locations in Oakland County Michigan as well as in Wayne County. Livonia is considered to be in the Detroit Metropolitan area, located about 22 miles northwest from downtown Detroit. Traveling from Livonia to Downtown Detroit on average takes approx. 25-30 minutes. Livonia has a total area of about 36 square miles and is kind of a square shaped city.
Many of the residents of Livonia say they love their city. Don't let the size of Livonia fool you, many residents tell us they enjoy a small community feel with loads of great city conveniences. Livonia public schools are a request we hear often, the schools boast a wide variety of great educational opportunities for their students. Livonia is conveniently located and has great access to local expressways, entertainment, nature parks/beaches, ski mountains, shopping and much more.
Livonia Michigan has a wide variety of home styles to satisfy every homeowner's taste. Livonia School Information:
The Livonia School District information below is from a local residents point of view. Many Livonia resident's have called us looking for real estate within a certain Livonia High School district. Be sure to use the links provided below for more information, but here is a vague GENERALIZATION. Livonia has three zip codes that we commonly use for home search purposes, which are 48152, 48154, and 48150.
Using this information, much of the real estate postal code "48152" residents attend the Livonia Stevenson High School District (of course, some may not). As a general thought much of the Stevenson district residents are located toward the Northern portions of Livonia.
On the Livonia Churchill high school real estate postal code "48154" much of that area attends Churchill High School (there are portions which go outside of that). As a general thought many of the Livonia Churchill district is located in the center of the city and the South-western portions.
The 48150 area has a big portion that goes to Livonia Franklin High School, which is located on the city's South East side. As a general thought many of the Livonia Franklin district is located in the South-Eastern portions of the city.
